What is it?
Off Grid Solar powered flood lights are the next generation of high powered illumination technology.
What does it offer?
They offer a cost effective solution to replace existing lighting systems, illuminate areas that up until now were cost prohibitive to undertake or new projects.
Who is it for?
Off Grid Solar powered flood lights are suitable for roadways, security, car parks, mining, outdoor advertising, sports grounds, parks, in fact they can be installed almost anywhere externally.
How much does it cost?
Off Grid Solar powered flood lights are an extremely cost effective alternative to traditional flood lights as no wiring is required. Operational costs are virtually zero. All components are tested in the factory prior to delivery to ensure maximum efficiency. Lights are simple and quick to install.
How does it work?
Off Grid Solar powered flood lights are a fully encapsulated IP65 rated, integrated light fitting containing the solar panel, battery, LED lights, motion sensor and computer management system. The LEDs are state of the art with a life expectancy of over 50,000 hours.
Basic principle of operation of the lights is simple. They are either on or charging. The computer management system controls how the light performs when it turns on thereby extending the battery life by up to 60%.
On initial start-up, the lamp brightens to 30% output over a second or so. This relieves stress on the LED. It stays at that level until movement is detected, then the light output increases to full power and stays there for approx. 30 seconds after the movement ceases and returns to 30% output.
It is important to note that all settings are programmable via the computer management system for models 20 watt and above.
Another great advantage these lights is that there is a low level of lighting at all times rather than the current on/off motion sensors that are in use today.
Why is this credible?
With today’s labour costs and spiraling electricity costs, these lights offer a credible flood lighting solution without sacrificing the quality of the light or the amount of light produced with no ongoing electricity cost.
